Learn how to prepare for a career advancement by developing your personal marketing materials, practicing for interviews, and preparing to network so you can successfully promote yourself.

Whether you are looking for career advancement or a temporary job, you should first determine (1) what specifically you want to do and achieve, where, when, how and why, and (2) what you have to offer that would lead others to hire YOU. Then you will need to gather and develop your customized, tailor-made marketing materials: including credentials, references, resumes, cover letters and business cards. You will need to prepare and practice for interviews and networking events. Learn how to pull all of this together and successfully promote yourself. Presented by Sandy Bjorgen from IMPROV-able Results. Registration required.

Sandy Bjorgen founded IMPROV-able Results to help people learn to both relish and excel at public speaking and working with others. Her clients learn to communicate more confidently, professionally and skillfully under pressure -- in groups, on stage, on camera and one-to-one. Bjorgen is a trainer, coach and facilitator. She is also an RSP (Recovered Shy Person) who encourages people to step outside of their comfort zones and turn their nerves into nerve! She can be reached through her website: www.improv-ableresults.com
