Getting Serious About Humor: Murder Mysteries That Bump Your Funny Bone

In this Friends of the Oak Harbor Library program, learn why we don’t all laugh at the same things and discover a humor matrix that will help readers find humorous mysteries that suit their tastes.

Charlotte Stuart began her career in academia, spent nine summers commercial fishing in Alaska while focusing on speech writing and management consulting in the winter. In a world filled with too much uncertainty and too little chocolate, her current passions include pro-bono consulting for small nonprofits and writing lighthearted mysteries from her home on Vashon Island. Check out Survival can be Deadly, the first in Charlotte's Discount Detective series.

The Friends of the Oak Harbor Library is dedicated to helping the Oak Harbor Library with money and volunteers, as well as providing programs and information about the library for Oak Harbor residents. This year, the Friends contributed more than $12,000 to programs, services and furnishings to improve the library and its ability to meet the needs of our community.
