Poetry to Welcome Spring

Join us as we welcome spring with the beautiful descriptive words of the poets who who captured its essence with poetry.

Have you noticed the growing daylight? Have the first flowers emerging from the earth captured your attention? Has the return of the sweet birdsong filled your heart with joy? The poets noticed these wonders of the season too, and in their beautiful descriptive way with words captured the essence of Spring in poetry. We will invite Mary Oliver, Gary Snyder, Billy Collins, William Stafford, among others to join us for an evening celebration with the poetry of Spring!

The evening will be guided by Charlene Ray, a local counselor, author, and lover of poetry.
