An evening with Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha

Pediatrician who exposed Flint water crisis shares her story of resistance

Oak Harbor Elks Lodge

155 NE Ernst St

Lead in drinking water was hurting Dr. Mona's patients. When authorities rejected her research, she refused to give up. One person can make a difference! Moderated by Enrique Cerna, KCTS Channel 9.

The 2020 Trudy Sundberg Lecture features a story of resistance, activism, and citizen action. In her book, "What The Eyes Don't See," Dr. Mona shares the terrible lessons that happened in Flint, and more importantly, the incredible work her team did, hand in hand with their community, to force state and local government to care about children. Moderator Enrique Cerna is a well-known former senior correspondent with KCTS and Crosscut. Lectures are free, thanks to generous local donors. Seating is limited. Book sales available at events
