STARS Training Series: Interpersonal Abuse Education

Presented by Island County Public Health, this class builds community capacity to recognize and empathetically respond to those who have been, or currently are, in abusive situations. 2 STARS credits

The class involves both informative and interactive components discussing overt as well as subtle forms of abuse, the challenges victims face in disclosing or leaving an abusive situation, trauma-informed compassionate responses, and community resources. 2 STARS credits. Registration required. Adults only.
