Get ready for the upcoming hiking season with Judy Bentley, author of the popular books "Hiking Washington’s History" and "Walking Washington’s History. " Registration is encouraged.

Join us to hear how the lust for profits from silver and gold created the boomtown of Monte Cristo deep in the Cascades. Follow the railroad that carried ore to smelters in Everett along the south forks of the Sauk River and treacherous Stillaguamish.  Featured hikes are Monte Cristo, Old Robe, and the Lime Kiln Trail.
