Discover poetry in the everyday language of postcards. This class encourages writers to look everywhere for poetry. You don't have to consider yourself a poet!

Through a hands-on workshop format, participants will write several short poems. This class encourages writers to look everywhere for poetry. The instructor has published a book of poems based on postcards, and other books inspired by personal ads, 1940s magazines, and similarly unexpected textual sources. You don't have to consider yourself a poet to enjoy these fun and accessible ideas for writing.

Registration is encouraged.
